Bricscad V8 - based on IntelliCAD - is the latest version of Bricsys’ DWG compatible CAD product. Bricscad V8 is not just another update, but the next-generation Bricscad. It signifies the crucial step towards free choice in DWG CAD.

Version 8.2 of Bricscad comes with several new features and improvements: a Layer States Manager, a PDF export option, a new command DwgProps and the support of the latest Dwgdirect 2.5 library. There are also substantial performance improvements.

The new Drawing Explorer
In the brand new Drawing Explorer dialog you can manage the content of all open drawings. You can add, remove or modify layers, line styles, copy definitions between open drawings, see a preview of internal blocks, attached images and xrefs, set your favorite drawing folder and open additional drawings.

The Properties Bar
Using the Properties Bar you can set the current entity properties and edit a single entity, the shared properties of multiple entities, a selection set, text entities, dimensions.
